The time has flown by since I got back from Nepal, there have been events in Mapperley and Derby City Centre which went really well, and the launch of several projects which see Elefair working with students from Nottingham Trent University. These projects will (hopefully!) result in a new social media marketing strategy, Elefair appearing in some local outlets and shops, a promotional video to be featured on the website and shown at house parties and even the formalising of our sponsorship programme to help promote nepalese charities. I have also been busy with some students who have been creating a "green stall" for Elefair, using natural materials to create stand out features. We are the proud owners of a new elephant donation box (made from coconut and papier mache!), a colourful postbox for collecting details for the mailing list and a huge laser cut sign. These are still to be finished but are already looking great. Yesterday we were at the fair trade fayre in Loughborough's Town Hall and it was great to see lots of fabulous fair trade businesses and start my own Christmas shopping :D
